My recent trip to Milan did not disappoint. In fact Milan stole my heart. This is a city that I have wanted to visit since I can remember – but have never really ‘got around to doing it’…I hate that saying but it’s oh so true.
My father has always said to me this is a place that I will love-he knows the love I have for anything and everything Italian (besides pasta) and often says to me that it’s ‘my place’. He could not of been more right. My time spent in Milan really was a whirl wind – tottering the cobbled streets in high-heels (this is an art in itself for any woman) and getting any and every snap I could whilst walking onto the next boutique and shows through Via Della Spiga to Montenapoleone.
I have such a love for architecture given that this was something I wanted a career in long before I decided my love was fashion so I was quite literally smiling ear to ear when we arrived at Duomo di Milano. Absolutely breathtaking.
We were lucky to experience quite the heat wave and sunshine so our lunch that the Dolce & Gabbana team prepared in the Martini Bar – Corso Venezia was beautifully set with warmth and sunshine pouring in above us. I may of also fallen head over heels for Sicilian food – the dessert was to die for!
I’ve shared some of my images taken as I am just so excited at the stunning scenery and architecture and am already looking to book a break and revisit and see some of my friends that I didn’t get to fit into this trip!

Some of you may know I have a thing for chandeliers. I also have a thing for floors. I know many do.
When the team decide to street-style snap-Thanks Fiona.

The picture does not do this justice.
On a walk through to Montenapoleone from the Metropol, we passed one of the wealthiest families villas – This is a snap through to part of the gardens with stunning flamingos.

Just a bit in love with this seat. And the Olive Green Marble on the walls that you cannot see (it’s from Brazil and can be found no where else in the world). I also want everything else in this room. And boutique.
