About a week ago I enjoyed a mini staycation in Dubai and the goal was to relax, unwind and breathe at the Zabeel Saray Talise Ottoman Spa. I visited the Talise Spa at Al Qasr a year ago and had heard so many good reviews about the Zabeel Saray so I decided to make a visit and compare the two.
Let me tell you, there is absolutely no way you can compare the two – the second you step into the grandeur of the Zabeel Saray itself, you are completely taken in by how magnificent the central chandelier is and every glimmer of gold catches your eye. It was a short while before I stepped into the Spa itself, and from the moment I entered, I felt the stress of the outside world just melt away. Adiós!
For those of you that follow me on snapchat, you would have seen the snap I just had to upload of the unique ‘Snow Room’ …I have to admit I couldn’t bring myself to sit in there but it’s pretty impressive and was recently awarded the ‘Most Unique Treatment’ category in Condé Nast Johansens 2015.
The Thalassotherapy Pool is definitely worth every second! A peaceful room with the most beautiful decor and a pool that is cleverly placed in the centre of the room giving you the feeling that you are an Arabian Queen…I soaked in every second of this given that it was my birthday and I was already being treated as royalty, and felt the part wearing my Oye bikini that I had ordered in London shortly before settling in Dubai. I’m currently OBSESSING over Oye Swimwear and cant wait to purchase my next bikini from the Istanbul-based brand…If you want superb quality and heaps of style on the beach then you can trust in this brand to deliver both with a handful of elegance. I’ll post more pics on this bikini soon…
I enjoyed the Sultan’s massage by possibly the most incredible masseuse who personalised the experience and spoke to me about my daily routine so that she could assess any areas to work on. I was asked to inhale deep breaths taking in the scent of eucalyptus before I closed my eyes and enjoyed every ache and pain massaged out of my muscles! An hour later I realised I had nodded off just at the end but was left to relax with tea and dates (bonus) before I headed off into the sunset and left the Palm behind me.
I can’t stress how impressed I was with the service and amenities of this spa, from the moment I entered to the very second I left the staff were so polite and friendly but not intruding and the decor is impeccable. I’ve already convinced friends to visit and am booking my next visit soon – I’ll keep you posted!
I’ve added some pics of my evening outfit before I headed to La Parrilla for a birthday dinner. This restaurant is a vibrant and tasteful mix of authentic latin american food with stunning views of the Burj Al Arab. The live entertainment makes it a bundle of fun so its perfect for date night or a night with friends…and the food is flavoursome and has a wholeless to it which I love! Buenas Noches!
PS. All images are currently taken on my Samsung Galaxy S6 until I receive my camera from Londres!
